This President's Day weekend my friend from work was making a trip to ABQ to visit a college friend. She found a great deal on airline tickets so I decided that was a good enough excuse to head out west too. It is so much more fun to fly with someone. We had a lay-over in Denver...very nice airport. We grabbed some drinks and then we headed south and west to ABQ.
It's always great to see my brother, sister-in-law and the kids!
On Saturday, we went snowshoeing in the Sandia Mountains.

On Sunday, we ran some errands and did some home improvement stuff. We went to Lowe's and Trader Joe's and then on to REI!!! We went out to lunch for some "New Mexican" food, too. Burritos and green chilies....yum.
On Monday, the kids took me to Explora before I had to head back to the airport. It has great science exploration and giant bubbles.
It was a great weekend visit. Its just always hard to leave, especially with Tas' giggles and exclamations "Weeeeee, This is fun Aunt Danielle!" I love those little boogers.
